Mission Statement

OC Real Estate Management, LLC (OCREM) specializes in real estate development offering a full range of real estate consulting services to third party clients. The four mission statements of the company are:

To manage, as agent for Obayashi, the portfolio of real property assets owned by Obayashi in the Western region of the United States.

To develop and asset-manage OCREM’s own portfolio of real property assets.

To contract with, and represent, current Obayashi Group clients by helping them with the full range of real estate services.

To secure consulting assignments where OCREM’s expertise can be used to cultivate profitable new business relationships for OCREM and/or the Obayashi Group.

History

OC Real Estate Management, LLC (OCREM) was organized in 1994, and is currently a wholly owned subsidiary of Obayashi USA, LLC. OCREM was originally created for the purpose of continuing the role as developer and manager of Obayashi Corporation’s real estate properties, a role previously performed since 1972 by OCREM’s predecessor Obayashi America Corporation.

Services

OCREM’s development management services are individually tailored to each client’s needs and may include market studies to evaluate alternative sites; negotiation with land sellers; environmental and title due diligence; processing applications for governmental approvals including winning local community support; providing construction and development oversight for owners; and attending public hearings and appeals if necessary.
